We must first catch vision of God through worship, then we will receive the vision FROM God for our lives. It’s in God’s presence where we find meaning, worth. All other things can be left behind. God’s ways are “higher than our ways” ( Isaiah 55:9) , his vision is so much greater than anything we can conjure up.
A vision is so important because it keeps us moving through hard times, helps us walk in confidence, and keeps us motivated when things seem to be falling apart.
The Bible says ” Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” ( proverbs 29:18)
Jesus, for the ” joy set before him” endured the cross ( Hebrews 12:2)
For I know the plans I have for you, to prosper you and give you a future ( Jeremiah 29:11)
When we get that vision , then we must write it down, read it, repeat it, remember it, and live it. Just like God told the prophet in Habakkuk 2:2
So have you spent time in worship today, reading God’s word, and renewing your mind? Have you caught God’s vision for your life? Have you written it down? Don’t forget it, keep it close, because it will keep you in the chaos.
