Not What I Own, But Who Owns Me

It’s not what I own, rather who owns me.  I do not find my identity in a house, spouse, job, money, wealth, celebrity, education or even my ethnic background. My identity is based on the presence of God. As Moses said to God, “If your Presence does not go with us….What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

I am nothing without my Heavenly Father, and that’s why it’s so easy to give up everything in order to find Him because he is everything I need to thrive.
